Jersey is a forthcoming Indian Hindi- language sports drama film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, a remake of his 2019 Telugu film of the same title. It stars Shahid Kapoor as a former cricketer who returns to the game for his son’s sake, alongside Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapur. The film is produced by Allu Entertainment, Dil Raju Production, Sithara Entertainments, and Brat Flick.
Sanctioned advertisement for the film was made in October 2019 and top photography commenced in Chandigarh on 13 December 2019. It was listed to be theatrically released on 28 August 2020 before the COVID-19 epidemic delayed product. The film wrapped up on 14 December 2020. The film was listed for theatrical release on 31 December 2021, but it’s held up due to the Omicron variant spread.
Mrunal Thakur (born 1 August 1992) is an Indian actress who generally appears in Hindi and Marathi flicks. Her first screen appearance was in the drama film Love Sonia (2018), for which she entered critical sun. In 2019, Thakur was featured in the biographical drama Super 30 and the action-suspense Batla House, both of which were marketable successes. In 2021, she has starred in the sports dramatizations Toofaan and forthcoming Jersey, in addition to the action suspenser Dhamaka. She’s also slated to appear in the comedy film Aankh Micholi, which is listed for release in May 2022.
Shahid Kapoor ; born 25 February 1981), is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi flicks. Originally recognized for portraying romantic places, he has since taken on corridor in action flicks and suspensers and is the philanthropist of several awards, including three Filmfare Awards.
The son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, Kapoor was born in New Delhi. His parents separated when he was three, and he continued living with his mama. They moved to Mumbai when he was 10, where he joined Shiamak Davar’s cotillion academe. Kapoor appeared as a background cotillion in many flicks of the 1990s and was latterly featured in music vids and TV commercials.
